The inside stage at the Mohawk was the setting for the Really Rottens' debut show! They were great! Uppers kicked ass too! Downtown Struts (from Chicago) played last.

Feb. 18, 2011: The Ripe @Club DeVile; Sons of Hercules @Beerland

The Ripe returned after a few months away due to injury (their drummer Nick had a broken arm) and played a cool set @Club DeVille. The Sons of Hercules kicked ass @Beerland.

Feb. 11, 2011: Valentine's Massacre Party

The Valentine's Massacre Dance with the Golden Boys, Lola Cola, the French Inhales, and the Early Stages at Beerland. DJ's Dogbreath and Edugé spun records between bands.

Feb. 10, 2011: Paul J's Birthday/OBN IIIs Record Release

Scrabble Robot, We Know Where You Live, The Stuffies and the OBN IIIs helped celebrate Paul J's (Scrabble Robot) birthday and the release of the OBN IIIs second 7" single at Beerland.

Feb. 5, 2011: Ugly Beats @Carousel Lounge

The Ugly Beats and the Transgressors (I was lame and didn't take pictures of them) put on another great show at the Carousel Lounge. Trust me, you're sorry you missed it.

Feb. 4, 2011: Girls Rock Camp Benefit @Beerland

Other than the a-hole photographer (it wasn't me this time) that was onstage during the Flesh Lights set, it was a great night at Beerland. Cruddy opened, but I only got to hear a couple of songs. Also rockin' it were Bottle Service, Planets. Yellow Fever also rocked it, but in a much less overtly rock'n'roll fashion. I still can't believe everyone, including me, was too nice to tell that photog to get off the stage.
